Nothing says Summer like the sweet sound of a baseball game being played. To get some baseball feeling in your blood you can head to a stadium to take the action in, yell at the players on the TV from the comf
ort of your couch or go for a stroll through the streets of New York City. Wait, what?
MLB Fan Cave, on the corner of Broadway and East 4th Street in Manhattan, has just introduced a brand new, first of it's kind, digital out-of-home storefront. MLB Fan Cave is a first-of-its-kind immersive fan experience which takes place in a vibrant location in New York City's Greenwich Village that hosts the winners of the MLB Dream Job. The Fan Cave features interactive fan activities and hosts regular visits from MLB players, baseball personalities and celebrities in a space which boasts 32 14-foot windows surrounding their "work space".
To promote “THE FRANCHISE: A SEASON WITH THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS” that premiers on July 13, the Fan Cave is offering a Foursquare check-in location titled, “THE FRANCHISE on SHOWTIME”, to recieve a free MLB baseball. That's right, the display disperses baseballs. Pretty neat, right? Better yet, some lucky winners will receive a baseball signed by Hall of Fame Player, Willie Mays.
So check-in and "PLAAAY BALL".
