Starbucks celebrated their 40th birthday all week long and offered up ways for their customers to get interactive with the brand itself. Caffeine go-er's who checked in to Starbucks on Foursquare got special perks like free drinks, samples of new treats and $40 gift cards. At Starbucks locations in Toronto and Vancouver, passerby's and customer's are being treated to an interactive window display.
The new touchscreen windows are promoting the chains Tazo Tea line. The screens allow people walking by to use their fingertips to guide a hummingbird, dragon or butterfly on a "mission" to find the ingredients which make up the Tazo teas.
